Bucks County Bar Mitzvah Photography ~ Joshua

We recently had the honor of photographing Joshua’s sister Stephanie’s Bat Mitzvah and just had to share his album on our blog (we didn’t have the blog at the time of his Bar Mitzvah). What a fabulous family to celebrate these moments with. I can’t wait to meet with Stephanie to look at her selections and create an album filled with images of her special day.

Ann’s Choice Model Railroad Club in Warminster

I recently had the opportunity to make some photographs for the Ann’s Choice Model Railroad Club in Warminster, PA. It was obvious that the members of this club really love trains. I was taken back by the intricate detail of the buildings and structures. The club will be submitting an article along with my photographs to Model Railroader Magazine with the hope of getting published! Wellington Photography Adopts a Highway

Over the years we have been trying to find ways to give back to our community. As individuals Rudy is a member of the Chalfont Fire Company and I am a member of the Auxiliary. This summer Rudy and I were looking for a way, as a company, to make a difference in our community. We had done some searching and came across an opportunity to join the PennDOT Adopt-a-Highway program. We were fortunate enough to be given the stretch of Limekiln Pike that passes right in front of our studio.

We recently completed our first Clean-up operation and managed to collect nine large bags of litter. I was amazed at some of the discarded items we found. We did bring one piece home to keep – a 1950′s YooHoo bottle. Believe it or not we actually had fun. We even had the pleasure of meeting some of the neighbors for the first time. We are proud to be a part of the program and look forward to helping Chalfont and Warrington look beautiful.

Where’s Coopy? The August Pet Portrait Contest is open!

Coopy has been having a rough time with the excessive heat this summer. It seems as he gets older the heat bothers him a bit more than when he was a pup. Coopy has taken a few swims in the pool to cool down but that isn’t his favorite past time. What Coopy likes most is to lay out under a tree and survey his turf. We found a couple cool days that gave Coopy more incentive to go out exploring. We took him to a beautiful spot in Bucks County that we as a family have gone to many times ourselves. This place is usually bustling with activity. We have even had the pleasure of photographing many weddings here. My favorite time of year to go is in the fall with their festivals, scarecrow contests and of course the perfect holiday lights. Coopy had fun exploring here and laying down under a tree watching the day go by.

Here’s how the August Where’s Coopy? contest works. You will have until August 15th to try and figure out where his portrait was taken. The winner will receive a free pet portrait studio session and an 8×10″ photograph of your pet, a $175.00 value! The winning pet will be featured on our blog the following month.

Now for the rules…yes there are rules but we hope made them simple!!!

Where’s Coopy? The July Contest is Open

Summer is here and in full swing. Hazy, Hot and Humid. Coopy has been trying to stay cool by laying in the shade and taking an occasional swim in the pool. This month Coopy wanted to go check out something HOT something new in the area. Photographer Rudy Stroh has been spending a lot of time at this location helping to get everything moved in and set up. So Coopy wanted to check it out! It was very exciting especially with all the added lights and sounds when the doors opened and they had to get to work! Check back after the contest for information about their open house in August. Anyone who’s ever been to our studio has either met or heard our studio mascot, protector and noise maker Cooper, our German Shorthair Pointer. He just loves hanging out in the studio with us. If only we could teach him how to retouch photographs, we’d be set! Coopy loves our clients, especially the ones that bring him treats, so if you want ole’ Coop to add you to his best friends list, (and he has a lot of best friends), a dog biscuit is all it takes!

The June Where’s Coopy? Contest is Finally Open!

Life does get so busy sometimes that we fall behind. Sorry for the delay for the June contest. Coopy was disappointed that he didn’t get to go on his monthly portrait shoot until the other day. We decided to make it extra special for him. Coopy is a German Shorthair Pointer ( a hunting dog by nature – birds to be specific). Coopy is the big hunter in our back yard; stalking the birds and deer that pass through. He isn’t real stealthy so they always get away. Well we found the perfect place for Coopy to track birds. Here it is the photograph for the June 2011 edition of Where’s Coopy?
