Coopy  has been having a rough time with the excessive heat this summer.  It seems as he gets older the heat bothers him a bit more than when he was a pup.  Coopy has taken a few swims in the pool to cool down but that isn’t his favorite past time.  What Coopy likes most is to lay out under a tree and survey his turf.  We found a couple cool days that gave Coopy more incentive to go out exploring.  We took him to a beautiful spot in Bucks County that we as a family have gone to many times ourselves.  This place is usually bustling with activity.  We have even had the pleasure of photographing many weddings here.  My favorite time of year to go is in the fall with their festivals, scarecrow contests and of course the perfect holiday lights.  Coopy had fun exploring here and laying down under a tree watching the day go by.

Here’s how the  August Where’s Coopy? contest works.   You will have until August 15th to try and figure out where his portrait was taken.  The winner will receive a free pet portrait studio session and an 8×10″ photograph of your pet, a $175.00 value!  The winning pet will be featured on our blog the following month.

Now for the rules…yes there are rules but we hope made them simple!!!

Summer is here and in full swing. Hazy, Hot and Humid.  Coopy has been trying to stay cool by laying in the shade and taking an occasional swim in the pool.  This month Coopy wanted to go check out something HOT something new in the area.  Photographer Rudy Stroh has been spending a lot of time at this location helping to get everything moved in and set up.  So Coopy wanted to check it out!  It was very exciting especially with all the added lights and sounds when the doors opened and they had to get to work!  Check back after the contest for information about their open house in August.  Have a safe and Happy 4th of July!

Life does get so busy sometimes that we fall behind.  Sorry for the delay for the June contest.  Coopy was disappointed that he didn’t get to go on his monthly portrait shoot until the other day.  We decided to make it extra special for him.  Coopy is a German Shorthair Pointer ( a hunting dog by nature – birds to be specific).  Coopy is the big hunter in our back yard;  stalking the birds and deer that pass through.  He isn’t real stealthy so they always get away.  Well we found the perfect place for Coopy to track birds.  Here it is the photograph for the June 2011 edition of  Where’s Coopy?  To enter leave your guess below in the blog comment section and go to our facebook page (Wellington Photography) to become a fan!
